Fürst means "prince" in German, and what a prince he is! An impressive macho, Fürst took the blue ribbon at the Buckeye Show in 2007, where Judge Jill McLeod said his "conformation was excellent" and that he possessed an "amazing staple length" (at 5 1/2 inches). He also received the blue ribbon at the 2007 AlpacaFest- showing in the mature class, as well as a blue in the Spin-Off competition, making him the only white male to receive 3 blue ribbons in the same year at these two Ohio shows. Fürst has a commanding presence, incredible density, and superior architecture with a bold crimp. Passing his crimp, staple length, coverage and presence to his offspring, Fürst has produced multiple blue ribbon recipients. Generally producing the dam's color background, he is able to throw color!

In 2008, Fürst took first place again at AlpacaFest in Halter and received not only the blue at both PAOBA and MAPACA Spin-Offs, but Judge's Choice as well!
