After nearly 3 decades of moving and "navy life" we chose to take a step back and enjoy the simpler things. 

Yes... memories of "Green Acres" all over again!! 

 

In 1999 we were first introduced to the alpaca while attending the Ohio State Fair... little did we know then that was to be a life changing moment.  It wasn't until the fall of 2005 that we were reintroduced to these amazing and gentle creatures.  Thirty+ animals later and we are enjoying every moment. 

 

Harmony Ridge Farms is a 200 acre farm nestled in the rolling hills of picturesque southern Ohio.  The setting provides an excellent environment for raising alpacas.  With nearly 100 acres of land for pastures and farming, the hills provide our alpacas the rough terrain they are accustomed to in their native South American environment.
